So should women who rely on 'the pill' (pearl index 0,5, pearl index
of LAM in the first 4 months 0,32 which is the same as an IUD)

I think it is usefull if you also know about fertility in general,
e.g. natural family planning, Billings, I don't know all the names
for it. But in my experience when ovulating the vaginal fluids change
and that is a tell-tale that menstruation is coming in about 2 weeks
time. So if a LAM mom gets a difference in vagainal fluid, she should
be more careful.

LAM worked fine for me, by the way.
