The mother with Type I diabetes who had pneumonia at delivery is still
without milk at 26 days. She had bloodwork done at 21 days, for which she's
still awaiting some results.
One result is in, though: she has an HCG of 5.4. Her GP feels that's too
low to block lactogenesis II. Anyone here have any additional thoughts?
(I'm out of my depth there.) She's going to take a home pregnancy test,
just out of curiosity. Seemed to both of us like an interesting idea.
