I agree.
Your effort must be commended with your patient advocacy.
If parent's are not properly informed of what their rights of a parent are
the battle is over before it ever got started.
I also feel every nursery nurse involved in infant care should be educated in
basic breastfeeding skills.
If more parent's would write letters concerning the need for breastfeeding
support, there might be a chance for the rigid policies to change.
I admire the nurse that will challenge a system to salvage a mothers
breastfeeding experience.
Keep up the good work. It is through nurses like yourself that changes are
made possible.
