Hi -- mom of 5 month old twins has been calling me for help from another
state for sometime now. Last time we talked she was having real supply
issues and I recommended info from Dr. Newman regarding Domperidone since
nothing else had worked enough to increase her milk. Although her dr knew
nothing about the drug, he agreed to prescribe and obtained it from
compounding pharmacy. Now, she calls and says she feels like her supply is
good (been on it 9 weeks), babies still nurse very often (having had bfeeding
twins myself -- this is usually the case!) but she wants to know when to stop
the Domperidone. I am not sure what the answer to this is -- anyone know for
sure? Please email me separately as I am in bed with double pneumonia and
not reading much email, but I said I would respond to her based on your
opinions. thanks, Ann Conlon-Smith, IBCLC, LLLL [log in to unmask]
