When Moms ask when they can intro the bottle I say I want them to be
breastfeeding for at least a week "without thinking about it." They don't
think about how long or when was the last feeding or if it's painful in any
way, they "just do it". I say that is when I consider breastfeeding to be
"well established."
On another matter - we are trying to get our hospital to institute a
breastfeeding follow up program (visit, clinic). I'd love to hear from
others who do this, how you convinced your hospital to do it and how you do
it. Also some info about your population would be helpful. TIA. Please
