It is challenging to get dads to come out to formal "support" groups.
Debbie Tobin
"Pam Hendrix, RN, IBCLC, ICCE"
Dear Pam and Debbie,
I think a really good way to get dads into the classes is to let them
know they will learn some great baby calming techniques so they have
some extra tools to soothe their babies in addition to nursing. This
helps moms succeed at the feeding by taking some of the pressure off
their shoulders and makes dads feel like real members of the team!
I am proud to announce to all Lacnetters that my award winning video/DVD
"The Happiest Baby on the Block" is now available from the new LLLI
catalogue.
Best wishes,
Harvey Karp, MD
