This discussion is fascinating and I must admit, sometimes puzzling, trying
to "unlearn" something that we've always believed to be true. I truly
appreciate all the input from Cathy Featherstone and others. I recently
reviewed the Hartmann CD-ROM for JHL which will be published in the June
issue, I believe. This is a wonderful tool for understanding (or attempting
to understand) this issue. For those who were not able to attend the
presentation at ILCA, this is most of the information that was presented
regarding Hartmann's research regarding the development of the new pump. The
beauty of the real time video and narration helped me understand - and I've
been in this business almost 20 years!
I have no financial interest in the program, which is a bit pricey, but if
you know someone who has a copy and desire to learn more about these
theories, it is worth watching.
