Hi Gloria.

My own personal experience with the mini pill is that it does not suppress
menstruation.  Taking it also does not ensure that you'll start your cycle if
you are breastfeeding.  I took it for about 4-5 months before my cycle
returned (about 7 months post partum).  Also, many doctors do not pass onto
their patients that once your cycle returns, the effectiveness of this mini
pill is reduced by about 5%.
