just thinking about your question.......
wouldn't the alcohol in the gentian violet evaporate, once the solution was
exposed to air and dried on the skin?
I would think the alcohol would then not be an issue as far as the baby
ingesting it goes.
I don't think heating it would be necessary.
What do you think?
