>> I was given as a gift to a new mother by an old client. I felt so honored that she would think to pay for a consult for her friend... And she is still breastfeeding her 15-month old gorgeous darling!<<
This is actually the gift I will be giving my expectant sister at her Blessingway, a postpartum visit specifically to help ensure breastfeeding is off to a good start. I have asked the IBCLC2B who did our postpartum visit (as a doula), and who I credit with the success of our nursing relationship (still breastfeeding a 23 month old), if she would be available for such a visit, because of the impact she had on us.
