I dont' know this to be the case, but IMO, any tissue
that is being utilised will have more blood flow and
more cell turnover.  therefore, using the ducts (ie,
lactating) should cause the cells to be used, die,
replaced and therefore more healing should happen.

I'm wondering about using products that would assist
in healing and breast regrowth.  Goat's Rue causes
breast tissue growth; therefore I think it would be
effective in increasing ductal regrowth in the area.
There are various scar eliminating gels and creams
available at my local health food stores- maybe one of
our herbalists could suggest one as well- if those
truly do help tissue regeneration, applying them may
be beneficial.   Massage may also help, and cleansing
regimens such as saunas may help some too.  Maybe
mothers who have had reduction and plan to breastfeed
should concentrate on improving the health of the
entire breast area even before getting pregnant.
