I know that Lactnet is not the place to advertise conferences, but I've
become aware (through Sharron Humenick) of a conf. in March in Calif. whose
focus is on the biological basis for bonding and on healing human wounds by
improving the environment surrounding birth. It looks so fabulous that were
I not speaking in Chicago that weekend, I would go in a heartbeat. The LC
community needs to know about such events and to be part of the community
that dialogs about these matters. I'm deeply sorry that I've never, until
now, heard a word about this, and my hope is that our profession can have
some representation at this meeting. It appears that there will be many
discussion roundtables as well as talks. The website is:

for all the details.
