I am not doubting the FMS has some effect, however I am thinking that this
mother's attempts to 'manage' her bf are more likely the cause of her
troubles, e.g. she pumps her milk, gives bottles regularly, skips night
feedings, engorged in morning, and tries to or at least wants to schedule
feedings. She is probably getting poor latches due to the preceding
practices contributing to pain. Her history of bottle feeding the previous
child puts her at higher risk for weaning. Maybe a support group like LLL?
Does she attend meetings?
