At the same time that I saw the mom with the long-term yeast problem (at
support group - she's a long-term attendee) I had a pediatrician tell a mom
I had saw yesterday that her baby did not have thrush.  It was the clearest
case of thrush that I've seen - tongue and sides of mouth completely
covered BEFORE feeding, did not wipe off and baby is clamping.  Mom is
extremely tense about going back to work because she doesn't feel she can
pump because the pain is so excruciating.  The OB won't prescribe unless
the pediatrician diagnoses thrush.  Sigh!!!!
