Judy Ritchie quoted an article from the American Journal of Clinical
Nutrition which in part stated:
> "Human breast milk is made up of fifty percent fat"
Well -- THAT is interesting news! 50% fat would mean that in a feed of once
ounce of breastmilk, the baby would get 135 calories figuring it at 9
cal/gram.
I think they might have meant to say that 50% of the calories a baby gets
from breastmilk is from fat. That's quite a bit different. Makes you wonder
how accurate the rest of the article is...."
