Dear Jan and all,
I have seen several cases finally classified as PUPPP. Two were in twin
moms, with symptoms appearing in the first week, not during pregnancy.
Started in the c-sec incision area and was first thought to be sensitivity to
tape and they progressed to rest of trunk and arms/legs.
Both moms started corticosteroids and topicals. Docs speculated on
hormone relationship, too, but didn't push weaning. One mom took 8 miserable
weeks to resolve. She has just delivered a singleton and has it again!
