I stumbled across an article addressing language, culture, and
breastfeeding promotion: "Postmodernity and the new breastfeeding culture"
was published in the August 2002 issue of RCM Midwives Journal. It can be
read online at:
http://www.midwives.co.uk/default.asp?chid=439&editorial_id=8970. The
online version of the article contains several errors in its quoting and
citing of my work. While some of these errors make the finding of my
article more difficult, they do not significantly change the meaning of my
words. For the record, Ms. Stockdale's article should have cited me as
"Good Mojab (2000)" not "Mojab (2000), and should have referenced my
article as: Good Mojab, C. The cultural art of breastfeeding. Leaven,
36(5): 87-91.

If anyone finds a moment to read Ms. Stockdale's article, please let us all
know what you think.
