Well. Something new always does turn up. All I can think is to look up
all the therapies used for Raynaud's phenomenon (quick-to-chill
extremities...can include nipples) and figure out which ones might be
applied here. I would think biofeedback techniques might be the best bet.
There are also other home methods of re-training the body's thermal
regulators. For Raynaud's, it can be effective to teach the body that when
the air is chilly, the feet/fingers etc. *can be warm* -- e.g. by sitting
outside in chilly weather with one's feet in a tub of warm water. Trying
to imagine how this might work in reverse...
Refrigerated cabbage leaves yet again? How's her supply? Could it
tolerate some reduction?
Pour a little water into a couple little disposable diapers, refrigerate,
and use as cold compresses?
Would the rebound from this be a problem?
Are there vasoconstrictors she could try?
Is this an issue for any other part of her body?
Elise
