We investigated and investigated. We even took the 10 day stool to the Dr.
and she said not to worry. All the early doctors and midwives said not to
worry. But this mom did worry and worry, she knew something was wrong (Linda
Smith says, "The mom is always right") as the baby was gaining, breastfeeding
well and cranky and miserable and not stooling. He did not fit the pattern
of Hirschprungs, but he did fit mega-colon. I did NOT DX his condition but
continued to seek medical help until an answer and solution was found. I
never want to see another baby go thru that again. It is within our scope to
get help, that's what I did and I'm glad I stuck with it. It is not true in
every case, just another piece of the puzzle we may all need one day.
Information is a good thing and I was trying to share with you some very
valuable information I received that changed this baby's life.
Please, just take the info at face value, if someday it helps, that's great.
