I asked Elisabeth Sterken of INFACT Canada about these advisory panel
members, here's her response, re-posted her with her permission as it is all
public domain information.

This institute has been around for as long as I have been a nutritionist! It
has put out info on infant formulas, complementary feeding and of course has
been quite resistant regarding the age of introduction. Of late they have
come around as we have been critical of their positions and communicated
this - and many others across Canada have been monitoring their position on
this. Some of their "experts" such as Zlotkin also receive funds from Nestle
and Mead Johnson. Zlotkin and Secker are also the "nutrition expert" in the
Nestle GoodStart magazine. They also push for various forms of fortification
and supplementation, such as Fe and vit D especially when it comes to
exclusively breastfed babies - continueing the mistrust of breastmilk. So
you get my drift...
