Thanks for passing this on to us. The main reason we need to do this
research is to learn about environmental toxins and to get rid of them.
If they are in breastmilk then they are in all of us.
Guidance to bf mothers is secondary. Until we have A LOT more information
the general guidelines will almost always be to breastfeed anyway. Until
we know a lot more about these toxins, how they act in our bodies, if
and how they appear in breastmilk, if and how they transmit to babies,
what individual differences there might be among women, it will be
impossible to give meaningful personalized advice to individual
women.
Toxins in breastmilk should be a serious wake up call to all
of us about what shape our environment and our bodies are in.
