Dear friends,
First of all, I would like to thank all messages I got about "tatooing and
breastfeeding"... very useful!!!
I have another doubt and maybe you with so much more experience than I do
can help me.
Here in Brazil we dontīt have problems about brestfeediong in public and it
is not rare to see extended breastfeeding. I know many people who breastfed
for 5,6 years.
But I am supporting a mother who is breastfeeding her 2 months old baby and
now her other son - who was breastfed until he was 3 years old and now is 7
years old - wants to be breastfed. In the beginning we thought it was OK and
she is breastfeding both, but she is becoming a bit nervous because he wants
to be breastfed very often.
We know he is jealous and this is a kind of way he has to be sure the mother
is "still his mother" as well.
But I am not sure about what to suggest... did someone have a situation like
this? do you have suggestions on what to say to this mother?
Love to you all and a HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
Denise
