Prof Hartmann at the recent ALCA Conf in Perth was telling us how lots of
mothers in the States came up on stage to breastfeed their infants and have
the opposite breast ultrasound-ed at the same time. He suggested that
this was a highly stressful thing to do in front of large auditoriums of
delegates, yet every single mother had a milk ejection.
He suggested it was more likely to be the stress of lack of self-confidence
that inhibits milk ejection - that was just a suggestion though, not part
of his research.
