<< On another note, I am opening a private out-of-my-home office next week. I
guess you could say that I am terrified. Working out of the home means no
overhead, no risk. Now I'll be paying rent and utilities and am just praying
that I will get enough business to make it work. This is really needed
though, as we live in a place that I cannot bring mothers to, and doing house
visits is so time intensive.
Victoria,
It is terrifying, so welcome to the group! My advice to you is to network
with others who've done it before you, take care of yourself first before the
business, follow your heart, and don't sell yourself or your expertise short.
Enter your first year out with patience....this means repeatedly centering
yourself again and again.
Good-luck!
Sincerely,
Carol Chamblin, RN, MS, IBCLC
