Esther, this is the biggest load of horse hockey I have heard in a long
time. Don't make mothers feel guilty? We don't need to, even if it were
our goal. They feel that way ...very regretful many times, if they are
unsuccessful.
If only your hospital gave more thought to what is best for babies, and
less to a load of horse *&^*( like this.
What a sad commentary.

.... I am under strict orders in my hospital not to make mothers feel
guilty if they don't breastfeed!! In this case, I am not what is making
this poor mother feel guilty. Maybe this will make her a better
pediatrician.
