All of my babies have biten me during nursing, and not always at the end
of feedings. My twins would not nurse in the day time, only bite me, every
time I attemped to nurse them around 9-10 mos of age. Currently, my 6 mos
old is an avid biter. All of my children had teeth at very early ages, 3-4
mos of age. My infant tends to bite more consistantly a few days before
she pops a tooth through, which she is about to do- #7 & 8 are very
visible through her gumbs. The first time she ever bit me was about a week
before her first tooth popped through. All of babies use(d) pacifiers,
maybe there IS a connection there (biting inanimate objects in mouth
creates confusion/desensitizing in discerning btwn dummy & nipple?).
Are there any anecdotes out there of babies who bit(e) who did not use
pacifiers?
