Dear Lactnetters,
I just received a phone call from our local hospital's RN IBCLC. She said that they had just received word from Ross Labs that they would no longer be providing free water bottles for babies. The hospital used empty bottles to give to mothers who wished to pump for their premies in the NICU.

The hospital is now trying to find a source of containers suitable for the collection and storage of human milk for their premies, preferably glass . The polythylene bags are a possibility, but it would be better if the mothers could pump directly into the container.

I will pass on any suggestions.
Many thanks, norma

Norma Ritter IBCLC
