Just a comment, the progestin only contraceptive pill and the depo-provera
shot are not equivalent. They are quite different, and inability to use one
may not carry over to the same effects from the other. As to effects on milk
supply, again this can be very differnt for each individual. I don't think
that if you can use the pill without an effect that it means you can use the
shot , or vice versa.
Just my two cents, but have seen different side effects from each in same
persons who switch.
