I see what you're saying, but I really have to disagree.

The mom has endured 8 weeks of pain each time she breastfeeds. She has seen
many professionals, each of whom offer her information that doesn't actually
solve her problem. Eight Tylenols each day is an excessive treatment for the
symptoms, but it doesn't take care of the vasospasm or the short frenulum.

Asking a mom to take 8 Tylenols each day for her entire nursing lifetime is
unreasonable. If the baby needs a clipping to solve part of the problem,
then that needs to be addressed. If the mom needs to have her vasospasm
dealt with, then that is next in line.

This mom has been all over the city looking for answers with anyone who
claims to have any. The baby is now eight weeks old and this woman has shown
an amazing commitment to breastfeeding. She deserves help, not eight
Tylenols.
