For Lactnetters in the Boston MA area-
A week or so, FOX 25 NEWS came out to interview me and also filmed one of
my mom and newborn groups- they wanted me to speak about resolving
breastfeeding challenges.

In the Boston area, you can watch the piece tonight at 10 pm on FOX 25.
(Monday night).  I have no idea if it will be good or not, but the producer
who did the interview and editing was really interested and supportive, and
when she called today, she said she thought I'd be happy with the
results.  I sure hope so.

I was prepared for the interviewer to try to twist my words or make me say
something negative, that didn't happen.  What I wasn't prepared for, was
the particular group of moms I hand-picked for the group.  They were all
moms who persevered over very difficult starts to breastfeed.  But whew, on
camera, they gave off one horror story after another, unprompted.  And
these are moms who are breastfeeding happily now. <wince>.  After the
taping, I spoke again with the producer about my concerns of the
negativity.  Her response was "don't worry- we will piece it together
nicely- we want more people to breastfeed, not less!".  Call me foolish,
but I believe her.  They also filmed Bobbi Phillips at Boston Medical
Center (only Baby Friendly Hospital in MA) for this story, so I think they
have the right idea...  We'll see...
