At two different events, Iıve spoken to representatives from breast cancer
organizations and asked why their literature doesnıt mention breastfeeding
when discussing cancer prevention.  Both of them have given me some version
of ³breastfeeding is controversial because it contains environmental
toxins².   And formula doesnıt?  For both organizations I tried to educate
the representative and also sent information, but Iıve never seen it
recommended.

Iım wondering, however, if there is some sort of party line that is coming
from a particular source?  Does the American Cancer Society take a stand,
for example?  Itıll be interesting to see if anything changes in light of
the recent studies...
