Actually, it is in the archives, but some things bear repeating and a bit
more discussion.  In many other countries they immerse babies from birth on
-- none of this waiting until the cord falls off.  I remember that Heather
Jackson, from Australia was asked about this -- and her reply was something
to the effect of:  "Of course, we mop their grotty little bums first!" (Which
is vintage Heather).  And as I recall, one of the hospitals (in Boston?) is
doing tub bathing for the babies while they are in house -- not waiting until
the cord falls off.

As I teach in our 6 day course -- is doing a sponge bath until the cord falls
off evidence based -- or is it tradition?
