Hello Everyone~
It brings me great sadness to announce that there has not been enough funds
raised for our January shipment of 35,000 WHO Code Compliant Breastfeeding
Information Bags. After nine months of 24 hour days & making my families
life turn upside down sinking us over $10,000 in debt from starting up the
Project I am sorry  to say that there is not going to be a January shipment.
For those of you thinking  of companies to call and government grants to
look into I can tell you that after over 350 contacts made at various
companies, organizations, and government agency's the standard response
that I got was there is simply "No Money for breastfeeding, but good luck
it's a wonderful idea!" Many of the companies have been hit hard by the
economy and are struggling to decide where to advertise and since I am new
they see the Project as a risk.
I think until people start telling companies that they want the product,
some companies will not take the risk.
I can also say that even some of the biggie breastfeeding companies were
harder to get information to and they treated the Project as beneath them.
It is a sad and confusing world sometimes.
I have even tried to reach some of the "big name" dr.s, writers etc who are
supportive of breastfeeding with no luck.....
I of course am going to keep the Project alive but I will not continue at
the pace I was going as it is not good for my health or fair to my family.
