This seems slightly off-topic, but breast cancer receives SO much publicity
and $$$ (especially lately) while breastfeeding does not, (even though there
are many links between them), that I think we need to be aware of the issues
involved.
Why are women so quick to champion breast cancer causes and not
breastfeeding?
Also, I have always suspected that we need to think more positively about
getting corporate sponsors for bfing - especially in Canada where we have
initiation rates of 90% in some areas.
The Selling of Breast Cancer
Is corporate America's love affair with a disease that kills 40,000 women a
year good marketing -- or bad medicine?
