Good luck tomorrow. You can agree to abide by the management's (or
administration's) decision(s) but you do not have to admit you are wrong.
You can show your ibclc code of ethics which talks about WHO Code issues,
inform how the USA agreed to the Code (even though not legislated), you can
state how you are reading tons of stuff about professional ethics related to
marketing, perks, drug reps, etc. You can say the AAP takes a stand against
formula marketing etc. You can say that you and many other professionals, as
seen in many recent editorials, feel the behavior is patently unethical.
They will be uncomfortable and you will get respect. This will come up again
and I predict 'they' will ultimately 'get it.'
