Actually, Tammy, I believe that the archives have this information, but you
might have had trouble finding it. I would recommend looking up lipase in
the archives, or in Ruth Lawrence's book....lipase activity can cause this,
as some mom have lipase activity happening in their milk, which causes a
sour or soapy taste/smell.
The solution is to bring the stored milk to a scald, BRIEFLY, then cool and
freeze for storage.
