After doing a search of the archives, it is evident that this topic has
been queried and discussed for over seven years on LACTNET.  I just wanted
to put a good word in for the new Independent Study Module recently
available from  ILCA.  It was a Godsend since I needed a couple of more
CERPS to recertify (Yes, Virginia it is possible to survive as an
independent consultant after 15 years!)

Virginia Thorley did a fine job of presenting the topic.  It will be
interesting to follow additional research and thought in the future.

As luck (or fate) would have it I had a call today from a mom who has
suffered migraines for the past twelve years and needed info on meds she
could consider for relief of headache  7 days postpartum.  She informed me
that she had planned to breastfeed, assuming that her headaches would be
fewer.  It seems she has kept a "trigger" diary for many years and was
well informed on the subject by her health-care providers.  How timely to
have just read the independent study which brought me up to date. I
recommend it to everyone whether you are desperate for CERPS or not.
