As far as I know the standards mentioned in the AAP reference
are those of the HMBANA and all American and Canadian milk
banks abide by the HMBANA standards.
Milk banks declined in the 80s as a result of HIV issues as
far as I understand it. Getting them started again in these
economic and "managed care" times is very difficult.
I'm also interested in this topic. Would you share whatever
references and info you get? I'd be most appreciative.
