Hi Gayle,
I "hear" the frustration in your post regarding the poor advice given by the
"other lactation consultant." While the client's account of their consult
may be perfectly accurate, beware. Very often, it really did not go down the
way she is portraying it to you. Remember, you said the client is in
"heaven" and is not likely to call you back, and that Dad has been wanting a
schedule.
Please don't take this as a flame. I am just giving you a 'heads up' in case
you see/meet the "other LC" who may really be a very good LC. We have
discussed this in the archives and you will very likely expereicne it at
some point too. A client will totally misinterpret, hear differently, or
report to someone else something totally different than what you actually
said or did.
