This is just the kind of response to this issue that boggles my mind. Who says there is no relationship between babies who stool infrequently and the development of this condition? Actually, from the descriptions I have read, it is just the kind of condition that could (I did not say "will") develop. Something causes it-- my curiosity was whether it was more likely seen in artifically-fed babies (not addressed in anything I have read), but there are clearly implications for bf babies as well.
