Did anyone see Oprah today? I didn't because I was rounding at the hospital
when it comes on here in Chicago -- never mind that I've NEVER seen an entire
Oprah show anyway. However, it comes on at about 4:00ish in Ft. Wayne, and
my colleague, Carole called me about it, wondering if anyone on Lactnet had
seen it. Apparently it was about "mothering" but of course, breastfeeding
was included -- and according to Carole, pretty much totally bashed -- with a
few caveats of "Of course, we all know breastfeeding is best -- but no one
told me about the incredible pain and bleeding nipples I would have to suffer
while I was doing it...."
Did anyone else see it? Carole only caught the last half hour -- I was
surprised no one had commented on it -- but maybe you are all like me --
would rather read a trashy novel if there is extra time than watch TV.
But if anyone has info, would love to hear it!
