If breastfeeding is painful, baby is not "breastfeeding beautifully",
IMHO.
This mom needs to be seen to assess the baby's skills and her technique
before anyone can make recommendations. Some premies are able to go
right to breast and take all their milk there, others need some support,
it all depends on the individual baby. Perhaps you could encourage her
to see you for one of the three "allowed" feedings a day, and work from
there.
