i don't think anyone is interested in doing that, heck, if holding them
in a sling and frequent nursing works, then there isn't a problem. I
think diet is explored as a last resort type of option.
I think Harvey's book is good for mainstream parents esp - those who are
stunned to find that the baby nurses, then won't sit happily in a bouncy
seat, bucket or lie in the crib for three hours till the next
feeding......those who would otherwise resort to babywise or ferber to
get some sleep.
