Medicaid/medicare will reimburse LCs when it is made policy at the
legislative level.  What do we do?  Hound our elected officials.  Contact
your state legislators, US reps. and US senators.  I'm sure all of our
elected officials show up at community gatherings (e.g, July 4th parades,
etc.).  Talk to them.  Write letters.  Call their offices.  Send e-mails.

The interesting part of this is that when the government puts a
reimbursable provision into its insurance policies, then private insurers
seem to start including that service as well.
