This will be of interest primiarily to those in and near Wisconsin as
well as those who have attended the annual conferences held in Florida
each January or Feburary.

Chris Flynn, an LC who has been fighting a recurrance of breast cancer
for the last 5 years died on Saturday morning.  While we knew it was a
possibility, it came as quite a shock as some of us had just seen her
earlier in the week and she had been working on some Policies for our
department even late in the week.  So apparantly when the end came it
was mercifully swift.  Chris had been an LC in Green Bay WI before
moving to Waukesha.  She and I started the LC department at Waukesha
Memorial 5 years ago, shortly before she learned she had a recurrance.
Chris was a frequent atendee at the Florida Conference and many of you
may have met her there.
She fought valiantly, alternating between getting better and having
relapses and has been an inspiration to many.    She was a popular
speaker in the Wisconsin area, especially at WIC conferences.  She will
be missed both professionally and as a friend.
