My inclination in this case would be to involve the minister in the
conversation. Is it possible that this mother has misunderstood
the rules of her religious commmunity? To my knowledge most
religious groups recognize the importance of breastfeeding.
As has been mentioned in several posts, breastfeeding is certainly
prevalent in the Bible.
What do the religious teachings of this group say about how to care
for babies through breastfeeding and also not encourage men to lust?
This is part of meeting the mom where she is.
