Not to open a can of worms but a caveat about the brillian complete
mozart recordings should be mentioned.  According to the website these
mozart recordings are being done on "authentic" (read that early)
instruments.  I am sure there are some on this list(such as me) who
prefer modern instruments as opposed to early instruments.

Karl Barth a famous theologian once wrote a wonderful homage to Mozart
and in his monograph he stated "When the angels play for God they play
Bach but when they play _en famille_ they play Mozart."

I wonder what kind of instruments they use?
