One of two very interesting cases from today's batch (are Monday's as crazy
for others as they are for me?)

Spoke with this mother two months ago who was seriously depressed and ended
up weaning her baby (3 mo old) because none of the MDs she consulted would
"allow" her to breastfeed while on antidepressants.

She called again today to say after going on them (no specific info on
drugs provided) she felt so much better that she decided to start nursing
again. Upshot of hit was that her (now) 5 mo old went to breast (most of
the time, anyway) and she has lots of milk and is doing pretty well, but
wanted some help on what to do when baby refuses breast. We talked about
cup feeding and quiet room (she has four other children under 10: do you
suppose that might have contributed to her depression?).

She "did it 'cause I felt it was best." Talka bout a confidence game!
