My partner and I would like to do an inservice for med-surg staff and other departments regarding the hospitalized nursing mother. Everything I'm finding in my resources refer to a hospitalized nursing baby. We've got some good ideas but I was wondering what others would include. We're going to discuss pumping and storage(of course, some psychosocial stuff (family in "stress and crisis") maternal illness, medication effects, radiographic studies and maternal comfort. I'm sure others would like to "hear" the discussion but please reply to me at [log in to unmask] as well.
