Dr. Hale classifies lamictal as moderately safe (L3), and doses up to
300 md/d have been studied.
The volume of colostrum is so small, that even if the lamictal
concentration is relatively high, it should not be a large dose.
They could always monitor the baby, and have banked human milk available
to replace some feedings if the baby's levels are too high until mom's
dose is reduced.
